I bought these pants on a whim, as the price was right and the description seemed to fit with what I new I wanted.
The pants are not perfect, but that's of my own doing. I got a large (which is a bit baggy on my frame). One other grumble is that there are no cargo pockets. Still, for my use, which is either standing or running around in sub-40 degree weather, these are great.

Ordered for daughters (they are TINY); normally XS is big on them but we had to go up a size (couldn't fit thermals under smaller size). Both agree that they are great for cold weather (tested on the slopes of Maine when it was way below zero).
I ordered a pair for myself and had to return them; ladies, if you have any hips these will fit but be very constrictive. Ordered men's instead and they are much better. Best thing is that they keep you warm AND dry!

Nice looking comfy pants, no snow just yet (9-9-08) to try them out.
Fit: I ordered the XL which has an adjustable waist that runs from about 34 to 38 inches. The inseam is a solid 31". I would have expected the pants to run a little large affording some room for thermal underlayers, but that is not the case.
Construction: The reinforced knee doesn't seem to be any more than a seam across the knee area, I would have expected an extra layer of fabric.
Usage: Recommend for casual or infrequent use.
