He stated that it was warm and kept him dry when it started to rain at the bus stop. Seems warm. Stiff unlike other Carhartt materials. I doubt the nylon material will break-in like the duck canvas I'm used to. This jackt is cut large. Great coat, at 6'4" and 290lbs. I chose a 2XL-tall. It affords me enough room where it fits over my arctic xtreme bib overalls with comfort. I drive a flatbed semi and am in outdoor conditions loading and unloading. At -15 dgrs with only a long sleeved shirt under it, and my bibs of course. Both temperature and movement comfort were perfect. My only complaint i can think of, I wish it was water proof. xcellent buy. An xtreme cold weather face mask would be a great addition to the coat in sub zero temps. Take care..
