Even though these thermals are two layers, they're thin/light enough that you forget about them after putting them on. I wear these under BDU's when I'm at work at night and the temps are in the 30's. So far, the only complaint that I have is that there's no fly. Yeah, yeah, I'm nitpicking. But, when you have to take off your duty belt just to urinate, it gets a little annoying. Still, it's a small price to pay to stay warm and comfortable when others are complaining of the cold! I was afraid of these 2-layer thermals being too hot during brief spurts of physical exertion, but that's not the case. I may be buying another set of these soon.
