very comfortable, the large is on the big side, so if you are in the middle of two sizes you may want to go with the smaller one...in any event, the cotton fabric is really comfortable and if you are just looking for an underlayer to keep warm under your regular clothes, these are great...

the fabric is very soft, nice weight. The problem we encountered was shrinkage. The items were washed in cold water, dried on medium setting and they shrunk immensely lengthwise. Ended up with the ankle portion hitting around midcalf.
