Stainless steel in non-reactive and does not add taste to beverages, these are a very good value, found elsewhere for more than twice the price. it has a convenient no-leak vent that make them easy to drink from but it makes a slight sucking sound when you take a big drink. I'm ordering more for gifts. A great replacement for my ever present disposable water bottles. save the landfills. Fill with ice and filtered water and you have a very fresh tasting cold drink at hand all day and the ice lasts for a couple of refills.

For the money, this is a pretty good product. One thing to keep in mind - unlined metal containers do have a distinct metallic taste. Hot beverages pickup the taste even more. Other than that, these are fine beverage containers.
