Excellent protection, construction and support. Runs a little large for me, and I wondered if I should have purchased a Small instead of a Medium. My waist is 32, and McDavid's sizing is usually 32-34 for Medium. For this model, the sizing runs 32-38 for Medium. If you're towards the smaller end of the waist spectrum, consider the Small.
