David, Kansas City We tried the Active Ankle for my daughter. It was too bulky to fit in her volleyball shoe and rubbed on the inside of her ankle bone. I wear the McDavid and suggested that to her. She was sold on it the minute she put it on. We purchased the Ultralight Level 3. It fits comfortably into her shoes and is light weight.   Mike, Orange County I have tried them all and this is far and away the best ankle brace on the market. As a long time (aging) basketball player, I can't tell you how many sprained ankles this has saved.   Rich, Smithfield NC I've worn this mcdavid ankle brace for years.
