I can not believe how cheap these sleeves are for the type of job they perform. My shin splints and Plantar Facitius have almost completely disappeared. I first bought one pair to try them out and have since bought two more pairs. The heat and compressions warm the muscles and keep you flexible. They have also cut down the amount of time that I need to stretch. I feel like an idiot wearing them sometimes but pros far outweigh the cons

The McDavid calf support works like magic, I have had zero problems and I have run several time nearly 10 miles at a time and the calf has had no problems. I highly recommend it. Before I used it I would have problems running less than three miles sometimes even in the first mile, but not since I used this support.

The product itself is fine, but sizing is the key with calf strains. As a result, I should have gone with a size smaller than recommended. I have since purchased a size smaller and can play basketball without concern of re injury.

I am a step instructor and I hurt my calf. A calf strain takes a while to heal, and stopping to exercise or teach for months wasn't an option for me. So I bought the calf support. I LOVE it. It enabled me to teach without pain and still heal at the same time. Due to its excellent compression ability, it really protected my strained muscle. I can only recommend it.

I plan to buy a couple of more now that I have the right size and know how good it works - make sure you measure before you buy. I had no problem. I am 41 yrs. old and have played B-ball most of my life. Currently I am playing 3 times a week. About 3 months ago I started experiencing strains in my calfs. I had to miss a few days to recover and everytime I played I had some calf pain. I've never had a need to use braces or wraps in the past but thought I'd better try something. I read that these might help. I have now used them for about 2 months and I love these things. I have not had a single problem with my calfs since using these. I swear by these things and will probably never play without them again. I used to think these types of things were just gimmics, boy was I wrong. They are worth every penny.

The calf support was much more supportive than the ace wrap. It did a better job of applying a constant pressure to the muscle during play. It is difficult to remove but provided pain free exercise.

I agree, the only problem is the washing that's required after sweating inside the calf brace. I wound up buying three more just to cut down on the washing but after long work outs it has to be soaked. I guess its the only way to make it work right. Pros definitely out way the one con.

Great band! More pros than cons ... Great support, easy on and easy off. Only problem is you need to wash it everyday.
