Product Tools: Description: The McDavid Football Cowboy Collar is an advanced neck roll system, that incorporates a molded collar of resilient closed-cell polyethylene foam and a padded vest into one product. A favorite among football players on nearly all major college and pro teams, when worn with regular shoulder pads, the McDavid Cowboy Collar helps absorb shock by engaging the sides and back of the football helmet, instead of the bottom of the helmet like traditional neck rolls. This reduces restriction and produces a cantilever effect rather than the fulcrum effect found with some neck rolls. WARNING: The McDavid Cowboy Collar is designed to be worn with shoulder pads for supplemental padding and protection.
