The Sub Zero Jacket from Mountain Hardwear, is engineered for cold weather climbing and mountaineering. Designed to protect the body from extreme weather, the OM2731 Sub Zero Jacket, showcases Water Resistant ripstop construction and nylon Taffeta lining for maximum warmth. The Men's Sub Zero utilizes 650-Fill Down Insulation to keep you warm in the most extreme conditions and reinforced abrasion areas for added durability. Adjustable velcro cuffs, and fleece lined hand pockets provide added versatility for everyday use, while an interior zip pocket and chest pocket provide extra storage for keys and valuables. Available Colors: Peat Moss, Union Blue Available Sizes: Medium(MD), Large(LG), Extra-Large(XL) Down Insulation: Down refers to a mix of waterfowl feathers (usually goose) that has a minimum of 70% down clusters and plumules (the soft, springy tufts that provide loft), 10% down fibers, and a 20% combination of feathers, feather fiber, and residue. All Mountain Hardwear down is 100% goose down and surpasses this minimum standard. The two major sources of down are China and Europe. Chinese geese are harvested at about seven weeks old and yield smaller down clusters. European geese are harvested at about twenty weeks old and yield larger clusters. Mountain Hardwear's 600- and 650-fill power downs are mixtures of Chinese and European down, while 775-fill is entirely European down.
