The Women's Lynx Jacket by Mountain Hardwear, is ideal for cold and windy outdoor activity. Showcasing Gore-Tex Windstopper Naughty Rabbit construction and polyester wind resistant fleece, the Lynx jacket provides comfort and protection in a single garment. Windstopper fabric is a three-part laminate that is totally windproof and very breathable, essential for active use. Featuring four-way stretch sides and arm panels, the Lynx provides a greater range of motion and unrestricted movement. Hidden Power Stretch cuff and hem drawcord helps to provide a custom fit and added protection from cold air. The OL2399 has plenty of room for storage with chest high hand pockets, zip hand pockets and an interior zip pocket. Available Colors: Black, Espresso Available Sizes: Small(SM), Medium(MD), Large(LG), Extra-Large(XL) What is Windstopper? Most non-Gore windproof fabrics are either not breathable, or only marginally so. In contrast, Gore WINDSTOPPER fleece is both totally windproof and very breathable. The fabric is a three-part laminate where the breathable/windproof Gore membrane is sandwiched between durable face fabrics and soft moisture moving linings. Gore WINDSTOPPER garments are the perfect insulation layer under a shell or used alone as an outer layer.

Marty, Location Unknown I bought this jacket for an African safari where I wanted to have lightweight, nice and warm, wind protection. It performed even better than I had expected in all three areas. My issue with most Mountain Hardware products is the cost, so to get the sale price made it even better.
