The Meteor Mitts from Outdoor Research are a warm, durable mitt system for hiking, skiing and mountaineering. The shell of the mitts are made from durable 330-denier nylon with lightweight ripstop panels. The Meteor Mitts are Breathable and fully Waterproof for protection from snow, rain and wind. The removeable liner is made from thick, 300-weight fleece for added warmth. When the liner is worn alone, the finger and thumb flaps fold back exposing your fingertips for untying knots or finding your keys. The flaps are held out of the way with low profile magnets. The mitts feature a boxed construction with an anatomically curved shape for natural movement. Gauntlet MonoCinch wrist closure seals out the elements. The Outdoor Research 71136 can be worn separately or with the mitten liner for added warmth. Available in Black only.
How To Measure Glove Size:
There are two ways to measure your hand, to determine your Outdoor Research glove size. The first method (and most simple) is length. Using a ruler or tape measure, measure the length of your hand; from the tip of the middle finger to bottom of the palm. The result will provide the measurement (in inches) for your Outdoor Research glove size. The second method requires a tape measure or tailor's tape. Measure your hand circumference, by wrapping the measuring tape around the widest portion of your palm. The circumference result (in inches) will provide your appropriate Outdoor Research Glove size.
