Flot out the best hat / underhat I have ever had -- fabulous wicking, fabulous comfort (only the tiniest itch, due to the presence of any hat at all). The cuffed nature of the garment allows for pulling it well down over the ears. combined with any over-the-ear hat that allows cinching under the chin and you have a nearly sealed ear cover that nonetheless allows you to hear quite well (good sound volume, no booming from friction between ear and garment)
