I've used these socks for many years. When I could no longer find them in the stores, I searched on-line just to buy them, since I haven't found any other socks that compare. They are so comfortable and fit very well. They do tend to wear out on the balls of my feet and heels faster than my other socks (but not so fast that it makes them a poor value).

My husband has used Thorlo for over 15 years. When I saw these soft looking sock he got this time I wanted some. They are so soft and keep my skin dry and healthy. I used to use the walmart much cheaper Bag-O-Socks cotton that last 9 months. He tells me this Thorlo style needs to be more rugged and that these have to be treated with care to keep from causing thread picks and damaging the elastic top of the sock.
To me they make my feet happy and yes I hope they last the 8-12 years the rugged hiker sock does with daily uses.
