I purchased these socks along with a new pair of hiking shoes and have worn them on several 8-10 mile hikes since. The first time I put on my socks with the hiking shoes I did eight miles and did not get a single blister or hot spot. The socks have a ton of padding in all the right places, but do not make my feet feel hot. I would highly recommend a pair of thorlos to anyone looking for a good sock and will be purchasing more pairs in the future.

Bought these socks to add cushion and reduce blistering in my hockey skates (which are a little too big). They did exactly that. Pretty thick, but perfect for my purposes.

I've been wearing this brand and style of socks for almost 10 years now and think they are the best for me. I'm on my feet a lot for work (location photography) and play (walking my beloved Pit Bulls) and they serve me very well. Don't let their relatively high price scare you...they last so much longer than ordinary socks that they actually cost less in the long run.

These socks are just the best! I walk my dogs everyday I can for about 1 1/2 hours...that's a lot of walking for a middle aged guy! I'm also on my feet for my work (freelance photographer) a great deal and the socks work well for that too. They are also very easy to pull on. Don't let the price tag scare you, they last so much longer than ordinary socks that they are actually cheaper to wear, in the long run.

Much poorer quality than I'm accustom to with Thorlo hiking socks. My old Thorlos lasted for years and these have holes in the toe area after two wearings. Not as high of quality....... :O(
