Constructed from heavyweight padding , the Thorlo J socks help protect against shock and impact. THOR-LON acrylic throughout the body of the sock wicks moisture, keeping feet drier and reducing blisters. The Running Rolltop has a flat knit instep for less bulk and better fit with added cushioning over the toes to help prevent against runner's toe. Made in The U.S.A. Protection Level 3.

Love, love, love these socks. I like the low cut..hate when socks come up a bit on the ankle because of the tan line they leave ...but especially the thickness under the heel and the ball of the foot that really helps cushion the foot.
I have about 12 pairs now and keep the older ones for running around but the newer thicker ones for working out. I wear them daily.
