I work in the oil fields in the Gulf of Mexico. I need to be warm in the winter but not bulked up with too much clothing. The 3.0 is perfect - even in a bitting gale forced winds and temps dipping below 20 degrees f and colder with wind chill - all I need is the 3.0 a shirt and a windbreaker. Most of the time i don't put the windbreaker on because it is to constricting. I can work all day and stay warm and dry. It is worth every penny and I need to buy another one.

Received a set of Base 3.0 Pants and Shirt as a gift for x-mas. Thus far they have kept me very warm. The cold weather is coming in late Jan / early Feb and I have no worries about working outdoors for 8+ hours and keeping warm. As RObert before me said, a biut on the pricy side, but honestly, well worth the investment.
