I am a police motorcycle officer and wear the Dehner motor boots for 11 hours per day. These would be great socks, if the top band were able to stretch farther. The band cuts off circulation on thin adult legs, and leaves feet numb after a short time. Currently, our 9 year old girl wears these hunting with no issues.

After wearing these, I have found them to be a bit too tight in their weave and would have preferred another pair of thorlo combat boot socks. UnderArmour should stick to making their upper body gear, of which I have nothing but outstanding compliments.

I bought a pair of these socks wanting to compare them with Ingenius socks, but there wasn't any comparison. I would have thought that for 20 bucks the socks could have been thicker, or at least had more protection on the heel or ball. They did wick moisture, but a 10 dollar wool sock will do the same thing. I'm sticking with Ingenius.

I purchased the Under Armour socks for a ski trip to Breckenridge, Colorado. After wearing them on the first day of skiing, I was disappointed. My feet did not stay warm OR dry. On the second day of my ski vacation, I resorted back to my old wool socks and am happy to say my feet stayed warm and dry every day thereafter. The Under Armour socks did not perform as I expected, and in my opinion, were a waste of my money.
