My son has been playing football for 7 yrs now (he's 13), he lives in Under Armour from heat gear to cold gear. Maybe those of you that say it don't work purchased the heat gear by mistake. My husband has also started wearing these shirts for work (railroader) he didn't believe my son till I bought him one last year, needless to say he now owns 5 of them.

I purchases Under Armour Cold Gear Mock Turtleneck-B... 0512
size large and found it too tight to wear comfortably. I would like to return it for an XL size. I used the siziinf chart provided but would recommend getting one size larger. I know the produce is to fit tight but this was way too small.

I live in Florida but work in a cold weather climate. I wore this cold gear and nearly froze to death. I had it right next to the skin as instructed and still nearly froze to death. I had to take it off and replace it with wool sweater and another competitors under garment that whisks moisture away. I hope I was not sent the summer gear by mistake because the cap is great. If the mock turtleneck garment performed like the hat I would have no problem But for me do not buy this garment because you will freeze to death if you work in Arctic conditions. The garment released too much body heat from the body. I hope I wasn't sent the wrong garment - hot weather gear instead of cold weather gear.

I was playing football in single digit weather, and all I had on was the UA Cold Gear Shirt, with a Sweatshirt over it - I was completely untouched by the cold. So to Ms. Illinois, (1) I don't understand why you'd give the shirt a 5 star rating if you didn't like it, and (2) how in the world don't you like it???

When I go snowboarding, cold gear is my first layer. Second layer is a fleece and final layer is a waterproof shell. With this sysetm, I'm good to go. Unless you're dead, you will be warm all day. Cold gear keeps you warmer than anything on the market period! What i like the most about it is it keeps it shape. Snowboarders bend a lot when strapping in. Once cold gear is tucked in, it stays in. It does not ride up, or loose its shape, which is critical on very cold days. I have four of them. If two are in the wash, I am covered for the weekend.

To the guy from Ill.Have been using Uner Armour for fishing and cold weather Activities. works Great. Possibly he didn't have it on right, Should be against the skin and shirts on top of that. Made a Mistake one day and put it over a Tee shirt very cold. Once I releized what I did I change it over
with it up against my skin and it worked perfect.

I use cold gear for everything from snowboarding to football in cold weather. Let me tell you, there are times when playing football in 40-50 degree weather I have to take the mock off, because I am actually sweating too much. As for boarding down a moutain at 30 mph with the wind blowing and cold temps, I usually wear an under shirt, the cold gear mock and a jacket and I am usually sweating. To the guy from Illinois, I have to really disagree with your review. Cold gear is one of the few things out there, which actually lives up to the marketing hype BS....
