I had ordered about a dozen pair of these same underwear about three years ago and wore them daily. Unfortunately, after many washing the waistbands were getting very "non-elastic", so I ordered more. The first thing I noticed is that although seemingly identical to the first one's, these new one's were tighter in the legs and the waist. I still weigh 200lbs., the same as 2006 and my waist and thigh size are also identical to my 2006 measurements. They are still an excellent product and I will buy again, although it seems like the current "Large" size is smaller than"the "Large" size in 2006.

I have found these compression style shorts (underwear) to be the best for long runs and other endurance activities; so much so that I cut the liner out of new running shorts and wear the UA boxer brief (long length) under the shorts. They absolutely do not chafe or cause irritation that some running short liners can cause; and the compression fit offers support to muscles during runs lasting over an hour or two in length. This applies to the black color only as the gray color boxer brief is made of a different material or % of materials that results in a different feel.
