Love these white rainbow socks, but they are a half inch smaller than the other Darn Tough, no-cushion Lifestyle socks of the same size. I bought these in SMALL and MEDIUM and the small was too small, even though the small in all the other styles I bought fit me just right. And that matches the size chart—I wear a 6.5 shoe. Since the medium fit me just like all the other smalls, I think this may be a manufacturing issue for this one style #6075.
I got these to keep me warm in my favorite boots, which don't have room for thick wool socks, and they are doing the job! I live in a snowy place and the temp has ranged from -8 to 47 degrees F since I got these socks, and I can say that they are warm enough for 20 and above. I don't use them or the boots I got them for if it gets below 20, so I can't say how warm they'd be in that range. They are the same thickness as a regular pair of dress socks. I have relatively thin ankles and they are not too tight, but I wouldn't want them any tighter. They are definitely not as tight as the women's dress socks from Target, which I just can't wear. The best thing about these Darn Tough's is how cute they are. I love the rainbow stripes.
