Inconsistent sizing

I find Darn Tough socks to be great, but sizing is inconsistent. I ordered 2 pair of hiking socks in size small (I wear a size 7 shoe) and they were way too small, so I sent them back for size medium, which fit perfectly. These mountaineering socks looked great for winter. The size medium that I ordered is way too large for me. It is frustrating to pay for return shipping. I am afraid to order more Darn Tough socks even though I would love another pair. I would suggest anyone right between sizes order the smaller size for these mountaineering socks.

Best Socks EVER

These are the best socks I’ve ever owned. I have several pairs which I bought for a trip to Antarctica. They are expensive socks but I have lent pairs to a friend when we were in NYC in the winter and to my mom when we were in London in the winter. These can’t be beat. They are heavy socks, and they will keep your toes and calves warm. My mom loved my socks so much that I purchased this pair for her.

Great socks

Bought these at Xmas time. I wanted a thick, cushioned boot sock (OTC) that wouldn't get a hole in them the first month. These are fantastic! I wear them constantly. They have been washed frequently and still look and feel like brand new. Not only are they a great boot sock that keeps my feet cushy and warm but they could double as slippers too. I can't imagine them being any better.

The BEST winter socks.

My feet are always cold in the winter. I suppose it’s from a combination of childhood frostbites while doing winter chores on the farm and raynauds since I’ve aged a bit ... but I know a good sock when I wear it. And this is a GOOD winter sock. The best, in my book. Warm without sweating. Perfect for cold Minnesota winters!

Super cushy!

I'm just wearing these with office work boots and they are cushy and comfy! I'm not used to OTC socks but the top elastic feels a bit more snug then I'm used to. They stay up quite well. My feet are not sweating (I don't normally have this problem with any other socks but these are much thicker than I'm used to).

These socks feel good!

I called DarnTough to ask about warm socks for cold winters and they referred me to this sock. I'm wearing them right now and my legs and feet feel pampered. They are a thick sock and are form fitting (which feels nice on my arch and calves). I've already ordered a couple pairs to give as presents. I'm happy to have found a source of high quality, made in USA socks and to be able to purchase them from a GoBros, a family run business!
