Features

  • Cushion: no cushion
  • Weight: lightweight
  • Height: mini crew
  • Performance fit for no slipping, bunching, or blisters
  • Arch support alleviates foot fatigue
  • True Seamless toe for a smooth, invisible feel
  • Merino wool for breathable, long-wearing comfort

Inaccurate size.

Don't trust the sizing on this! In picture on top is a Darn Tough Mens Run Quarter Ultra-Lightweight Socks in XL. On bottom is the 1715, also in XL. As can be seen it is much larger. Save yourself the headache and get something else, or order several sizes down.

Inconsistent sizing

I won't buy DT sock from here again because of the inconsistent sizing. I can't afford to ship back socks because DT has poor quality control. Just fyi, the XL is about 14-15 inches from toe to heal, in charcoal.

Great product

Let me preface my review with some background information. I use orthotics in my shoes due to foot and ankle issues. I have what my doctor refers to as a “heavy gait” so I tend to wear out socks very quickly.
The Darn Tough Mens Quarter Lightweight socks are working out perfectly for me. The weight is perfect, especially during the warm summer months. The fit is perfect for me as I prefer a tight fitting sock. I have tried many other sock brands before finding these and I would wear them out quickly. So far I have not worn a hole in any of the pairs I have purchased.
Thanks for making such a good product.

Changed brands

I was using the sock that has the bee on it. I didn’t like that they were made in China. Darn Tough fell better than Bomb—-, and are made in theUSA.

Darn tough quarter socks.

Solid so far. Light weight has just the right padding I want for this athletic use. Fit is good as toe seems and heel seem to be accurately positioned. Pricing with sail is an advantage over all the competitors without this strong warranty.

Extra Fabric at Heel

These socks are super thin and have a weird pouch of extra fabric at the heel. Won't be ordering them again. Ordered XL for size 13/14 foot.

Best socks every

Simply the best socks ever. Took a lot for me to pay $12-$15 a pair when you get an entire pack at the bigbox store for that... However these socks last way longer and are more comfortable, keep your feet dry etc.

AMAZING

These are the best athletic sock you can get ANYWHERE!

I bought these socks for my cyclist boyfriend for X-mas. The feel is good, and the no padding worked well with his cycling shoes. He has a long, narrow foot, and the heel is not in the right place to make the ankle fit comfortably. If the heel is right, the ankle tugs down, and if the ankle fits right the heel is coming out of the shoe. Wish I could recommend, but can't.

The width is too tight for my foot

The width is too tight for my foot and this fabric blend doesn't feel as good as socks with cotton mix

Nice feeling socks, but

Nice feeling and attractive socks, but XL are a bit tight on my size 13D feet. They are plenty long, but still tight. I will wear them in dress shoes when going to a short timed event, like church, 2-4 hours.

More awesome socks

I hike 20+ times a month typically regardless of conditions. I hike through creeks often with darn toughs combined with Altra trail running shoes. My shoes drain well and the socks are bullet proof. Socks are expensive but awesome. I have many pairs and just put a hole in one after 5 years in the rotation. Hardly wear any other socks but dress socks...

1/4 light socks

Great socks and great price. These socks are not thick and are perfect for long warm rides. If you need warm socks you have to look elsewhere.
