Sock is tight at the top and baggy everywhere else. I don't know anyone built like that. I have several pairs of wigwam socks I am in love with but this is not it. Definitely not what I thought I was ordering

The picture shows the prior color of Wigwam socks, but the pairs I received were a different color and what seems to me, a different material, although that is not noted anywhere. Perhaps the style and material for the ones I had from the past two years is not being used anymore, but my old ones were heavier, warmer and had a "snugger" fit.

Great Socks

I use them for wildlife photography. The first test was a cold and rainy 12 hour outing. The socks performed very well. They fit well. I wear 10.5 and the large size fit well. They stayed up all day and the cushioning was very comfortable.

Keep feet warm during extreme weather

I spend a lot of time outdoors. Camping, fishing, hiking, hunting, etc. But I also have poor circulation in both my feet due to a past blood clot. I wouldn't purchase any other sock except this one for keeping my feet warm under different, sometimes extreme weather conditions. They have proven to me to be the best. Like walking on air. I live in the northeast in NY. Weather is not always your friend here. Do the research. I did. ...

Keep feet warm and dry

I purchased these Wigwam socks for winter horseback riding. Last year, I used foot heaters which work great, but I didn't need 8 hours of heat. Tried these socks and so far have used them in a 30 degree barn, walking through muddy, wet pasture and my feet stayed warm & dry. I was concerned the wool would be uncomfortable to me, but it was not. They are very comfortable, wash & dry very well, and it seems my feet should stay quite warm riding all winter.

Thick and stay up

I love these Wigwam socks. They're very thick, and stay up much better than other socks. I have a pair in beige (or grey as the website erroneously describes them), and I like the beige/grey ones better for some reason, but these are still awesome. (I avoid the dryer, but they really DO air dry very quickly ... try turning them inside out half way thru).
