Wigwam Diabetic Sport Crew Midweight Socks

Regular price $16.00

Color: Black

Diabetes can limit foot movement, so give your feet some space to breathe. The Wigwam Diabetic Sport Crew offers a comfortable fit that won't constrict, thanks to its midweight design and zone cushion knit into targeted areas. This sock motivates your feet to go the distance with limited constriction and Drirelease Tencel.

Features

  • Height: crew
  • Cushion: light targeted cushion
  • Weight: midweight
  • Relaxed fit
  • Performance fabric controls odor and moisture
  • Non-binding

Customers praise these diabetic crew socks for excellent comfort and non-binding fit, especially for wide feet and leg swelling. Many note they "stay up" without tight elastic marks and wear well over time. Made in USA. Some concerns about pilling after washing, elastic shrinkage, and inconsistent sizing. Popular for winter boots and daily wear.

good boot socks

Find myself reaching for these a lot in the winter. The little extra height compared to my other diabetic crews is a bonus with boots on cold days.

NICE COMFORTABLE SOCKS

I HAVE LEG SWELLING AND FINDING SOCKS THAT DON'T MAKE MARKS ON MY LEG IS EXTREMELY DIFFICULT. I RECOMMEND THESE SOCKS FOR ANYONE THAT NEEDS WIDE STRETCHABLE SOCKS.

Socks are not that great -

Sorry - these socks are not what I had hoped for, after one wearing and washing they started piling/balling up. Still have 5 pair that are new - husband will use as work socks. Learned my lesson.....stick with COTTON!!!

Excellent Socks For Wide Feet

These are my husband’s favorite socks. They fit his wide feet very well; they stay up; are not binding or constricting; & don’t irritate bunions or cause blisters. Highly recommend.

Wigwam Diabetic Sport Crew Socks

Not quite as heavy as they used to be. After first washing some of the elastic around the top of the sock shrunk and bunched up so i had to break a few bands but other than that they are a great sock and at the end of the day I don't have any swollen marks on my legs.

Excellent socks

I've been wearing this brand of socks for a number of years as my comfort go-to sock. One of the things I like best about them is that they "stay up" without undo tightness. Just wish they were available in more colors than just white and black.

I buy these fo my brother- in- law at Christmas. He loves them. My sister said he wears them even when they start to get a hole.

The socks appear to run

The socks appear to run a bit scant on size. My concern is they will shrink after laundering.

Unimpressed overall

Took too long to arrive. Far from the sock I expected. Too thick. Overpriced for the quality.

Very comfortable

These Wigwams are the most comfortable socks I've purchased in a very long time. I am not a diabetic but I dislike too tight socks.

Too much elastic

Comfortable and xl fit my size 16 foot. However , advertised as diabetic socks, I expected no elastic at top. They did have elastic, but less than normal

Padded and warm

Best socks I have ever worn. Padded on the heels, warm and comfy but not too warm. Stay up well but do not leave marks on my rather thin legs. My custom orthotics are much more comfortable when I wear these Wigwam socks. I have washed them several times with no problems...cold wash and delicate dry.

Excellent

I have trouble finding quality socks for my husband who has muscular calves and circulation issues. These fit and are excellent quality.

Disappointed

I bought these Wigwam diabetic style socks to reduce elastic marks from most other of my socks. Alas, my feet are not wide but the uppers of these socks still left elastic markings in my legs above the ankles. The socks are quite cushioned and comfortable, but after several washing I felt some lumpiness near the toes. After washing, if you turn the socks inside out you can clearly see some pilling and loose threads. Even the inside stitching from the sewn-in Wigwam logo had loose hanging threats that were noticeably annoying at times. Now after each washing I reverse the socks and remove loose materials before wearing them. This is necessary to avoid having these loose fibers rub up against and in between your toes. This rubbing could be worse for diabetics with neuropathy (which I don't have),

Best Wigwams ever

Great Wigwam socks...best I've EVER worn.

Top too tight

These Wigwams are fine socks except for an obese man, the top is too tight and my leg swells around the top of sock. The bottoms are cool inside the shoe and very comfortable. Most normal people should be very comfortable.

Kept feet dry, stayed up, and comfortable

I was a bit leery of these Wigwam socks not having the cotton content I look for in socks as my feet sweat a lot doing hard work and I am on my feet all day. I wanted them to absorb the moisture, but they did a good job of keeping it off my skin. They did fine in keeping my feet from looking like I had been in the tub all day. I am not diabetic, but I do not like the 'squeezed' effect that most crew socks give you at the end of the day, with too much elastic in the tops. These socks stayed up and were comfortable. Ordered several more.

Great diabetic socks

Better than other diabetic socks he has tried. Applies to both the white and black Wigwam pairs.
