I really like these socks, they are very comfortable. My only other comment would be that I take a 10.5 -11 size shoe and the Large size is quite tight.

For years, Wrightsocks Double Layer are the only ones I wear. I have them in several weights and colors. They wick away perspiration so my feet are always dry, no matter what the weather. Cool in summer and warm in winter, and very durable.

Quality has declined

I've been wearing WrightSock brand for 10+ years for hiking and have always been happy with the quality, until this purchase. The socks are wearing above the ankle, with threads coming loose, in an area that is not touched by my shoes. They've been worn <5 times and washed twice, so it's not a "wear and tear" situation at all. Definitely disappointing.

Love the Coolmesh II Lo!!!

I've been wearing Wrightsock's Double-layer Coolmesh II Lightweight Lo socks for probably close to a decade by now. They're my favorite socks for many reasons including durability (they last forever despite heavy use), comfort (the material never 'bags' but maintains snug fit), and their color/tone options (stark black or muted gray being my standards) go well with every running or hiking shoe I've worn. Their height is also great: not too tall, not too short. I wear them as daily socks throughout the year, when it's cold and I wear wool hiking socks I wear these as a liner. Guess this is getting a little OCD and long, but I am veerrry picky and can't stand buying poorly designed and manufactured crap, so I rarely leave reviews, but I HIGHLY recommend these Wrightsocks!
