With zig zags and fresh colors, the Sockwell Chevron Graduated Compression sock adds a little bit of goodness to your day. Spun with a yarn blend of fine Merino wool and rayon from bamboo and featuring an ultra-light cushion sole, arch support, and a seamless toe closure, these socks feel as great as they look.

Moderate graduated compression (15-20 mmHG) is designed to improve circulation and reduce moderate swelling.

Why choose Sockwell Compression Socks? Compression on the lower legs effectively encourages blood return from your legs and feet back to your heart which is proven to speed recovery, maximize circulation and reduce fatigue. Four zones of graduated compression help support and revitalize tired muscles, minimize swelling and reduce fatigue.

Ideal for minor to moderate varicose veins, plantar fasciitis pain, exercise and recovery, flying and travel, prolonged sitting and standing, and pregnancy.

Good basic Sockwell compression sock

The Chevron style is a great basic, moderate compression, sock to start with if one's new to compression socks and Sockwell in general. The compression is typically consistent, the stitching is usually very good (unlike the Cyclones, that's for another day), and their colors are fairly accurate in the pics. The charcoal sock appears, at least on my screen, to have a light burgundy color paired with the charcoal color. The color actually has more red to it and is very nice, I just had my heart set on the light burgundy. I'd include a pic with this review, but my camera makes the color appear a touch orange which isn't accurate either. Another great style for people to start with is the Circulator style for similar reasons. From there, one who wants more calf room can get the Full Flattery, Full Floral or the new Full Twist, while those who want a tighter fit can look into great firm compression styles like Twister--not to be confused with Full Twist, Pulse (my fave), Elevation, Raj, Emboldened, etc... The firm ones are a good deal tighter for those who are on the fence about which to choose. The Elevation style always leaves pattern indentations on my legs while a full day in the Twisters won't leave pattern marks but will leave a red line where the top of the sock pressed on my leg. The moderate compression are my typical, go-to compression level when I'm active. A while back I was stuck in bed healing from a surgery and as a result had lost some calf muscle tone, and then only the firm compression would do. Meanwhile I have a relative who is only comfortable in the full calf styles. For those who are deciding what to buy, I hope this helps.
