I work on rocky terrain every work day -- stop and go, measuring and tagging trees.
These socks are fantastic -- I doubt I will purchase any other socks in near future!

You should increase the cushioning for the back of the heel and top of the foot but keep the cushioning the way it is for the rest of the sock

I love the Wrightsock Double-layer Adventure Cushion Crew socks that I got for winter hikes. It is perfect for winter hiking and snowshoeing. The cushioning is perfect and the weight of the sock keeps my feet warm and dry. Absolutely NO BLISTERS even when hiking/snowshoeing ten miles in eight inches of snow that causes your feet to slide around a lot.
I also have a pair of the Climate Cool Mesh II that I wear all summer, they keep my feet cool, dry and NO BLISTERS even with 10 plus mile hikes.
Make sure you turn the socks inside out to launder, No fabric softener and lay flat to dry. I'd you follow the instructions your socks will last.

Grandson very pleased with the socks...he'll report more on them as he uses them...so I'll know if he wants more!

I had great hopes for these socks, but one of my pet peeves is a toe seam that is not flat and has the bump on each side of my foot. These socks hurt.

First pair of these. I have been using the low cut DLX and Fuel models for years. Seem to fit fine.

These are my go-to socks for trail and road running along with snowshoeing in winter. Further, I wear them most other times, too. Because of the thick material, I get comfort to my needy feet. With the two layers, blisters are a thing of the past. Finding this brand eliminated a major problem in my program. I suggest if you try them, you will agree that these are the right socks for you. One last note, I only buy them from GoBros. I can depend on them. I like the ease of selection, plus they have examples of all of the varieties from Wrightsock. Best hiking socks I have ever used.

These Wrightsock socks are awesome. I use them mostly for hiking, no blisters! What I really like is when I pull out of laundry, the two layers remain together, I'm not struggling trying to place interior layer back in the exterior layer, that's a huge plus.

I have been getting ready to go to Spain and do the Camino de Santiago. I have been getting horrible blisters. I have discovered I have "pump hump," though it is mild compared to images I have seen. Reading about blister strategies I have tried most. Taping works as long as it stays in place, but it did not and I got them again. These socks have been the first to actually give me a day of walking with no new blisters or hot spots. I still need to wear them on steep climbs, but so far they are living up to the claim.

I highly recommend these two-layer socks for blister free hiking. They are cushioned without being bulky and provide good support. They do not slip down the leg and feel comfortable through long hikes. Excellent service from GoBros too!

Superb construction. Extremely comfortable both in ability to contour to feet and with lots of cushioning. These Wrightsock's were warmer than I expected.
