Thorlo Ultra-Light Cushion Crew Hiking Socks

I started wearing thorlo light hiker socks years ago. They were the perfect socks for my field work requiring long, hot days walking the citrus groves in Florida. The light hikers were a perfect fit with my boots and my field work.
However, they were too thick for my casual shoes and sneakers, requiring a change of socks after changing shoes. I found
the ultra light hiker socks fit both my boots for field work, and my shoes for everyday wear. They cushion my walking the terminals, streets, planes, or Ubers. Very comfortable, smart looking, durable.

I have worn Thorlo mailman official socks since 1980. When I retired in 2008, I spent half of my uniform allowance on SOCKS. They WEAR well. My old ones were "getting old" this year. I was VERY nervous ordering on-line. Would they be the SAME quality? Would they make my feet SWEAT? [my biggest problem!!--well that, and people putting NO SMELL chemicals in the socks] THESE WERE EVERY BIT AS GOOD AS THE POST OFFICE ISSUE!?!? They are slightly lighter. {I also ordered the maximum cushion socks---they are GREAT also! How much padding do you want/need? How cold is your climate?} I highly recommend them!

These are the best socks for those with “hot feet”. They’re a loose weave of “cool max” synthetic yarn - the only thing I’ve found that really allows my feet to breathe, and not overheat. They’re light and have minimal seams. When I’m hiking long distance I wear these with a combination of a another thinner liner and the combination is perfect. Highly recommended!

I bought these socks to wear with my hiking shoes, and they are great. They are comfortable, fit well, and look good. I highly recommend them.

My husband and I love Thorlo socks, particularly these light hikers. They are what we wear daily for walks and hikes as well as everyday activities. They fit well, keep our feet warm and wear forever. My husband has troubles with wool socks, even cotton lined ones, so these Thorlos are his go to socks all year round.

Really like these socks. I was looking for socks I can wear in the winter with leather MaryJane's or with leather boots. Only issue is that these Thorlos are a bit tight at the top, but they do stay up beautifully, thus my 4 thumbs.

I really liked these socks for wearing to work in the office. Keep feet dry, do not irritate toes, support arch. I wear the light hiker Thorlos otherwise, which I love because they have more cushioning in a larger shoe.

These are my favorite everyday all-purpose socks. Unlike many socks these days that cinch and squeeze your feet under the guise of high tech wear, these Thorlos gently wrap your feet and let them breathe. Great comfort wear, and the grey quarry look great, too.

I like the color, but I purchased light hiking socks, and these are thinner than my others. I feel like the toe area is going to get a hole in it really fast! They are very comfortable, as all my Thorlo socks are. Hope they last a few years

I ordered the women's size 6.5 to 10" and they are way too big. I normally wear a 9 to 9.5" and this would have fit a man's 11 foot.

Living in Montana these socks are not only comfortable, but can take a lot of hard use. Properly cared for, I have had some pairs last more than five years. There is no substitute for quality.
