Loose string

Socks seem good, but as soon as I pulled one on for the first time there was a loose piece of fiber/string at the top of the sock that I had to cut off. Hopefully not the beginning of an unraveling. Time will tell about the durability.

Awesome socks

I have many different styles of Darn Tough socks and love every one of them. I decided to try this full cushion boot sock for backpacking and hunting, I did not feel that the partial cushion sock had enough padding for what I needed. Thus far, they have worked great, I have no complaints.

What’s not to like?

Yes, Darn Tough socks are pricey, compared to the more generic athletic socks I used to wear, but their comfort, their fit, their quality, and the company’s peerless guarantee make them well worth the expense. (And getting them at a 25% discount from GoBros is even better.) The Charcoal-colored Hunter Boot socks are particularly nice and would be suitable to wear in the office or in the woods. I’m soled on Dar Tough socks!

Comfortable and warm socks that work great for my neuropathy. The cushioning is also where I need it.

Ride Down Calf

The Darn Tough Hunter boot socks are not very well cushioned, and tend to ride down calf while walking. Also not very warm. The Darn Tough Hike-trek full cushion boot socks are overall much better. Unfortunately because I washed the Hunter socks before I wore them, I can 't return them for a refund, and I would also have to pay return shipping.
