Manufacture Issue with this sock

We ordered this same item number directly from Darn Tough and really liked the socks. Go Bros had a great price on the same item and we ordered several pairs. On arrival the socks are not crew length. They are mid-calf length. This did not suit and we returned them. Go Bros Customer Service is wonderful and they told us the problem originates with Darn Tough. The sock itself is well made and wears well. The problem is with the consistency of product as labeled. They are putting the wrong socks in the packages at the factory. We contacted Darn Tough and they never bothered to get back in touch with us.

Good USA Buy

Very good sock. Stays in place and holds it's shape. The pair I bought is a little too tight.

Best of the Best

I'm due to be 64 at the end of 2020; I hiked the AT after graduating high school ~1974 and I still hike. So, I've been through some socks. I have tortured more than a few brands to death but the Darn Tough socks..., I just sort of retired them after loooong service. Merino wool is the best material for socks that I've encountered and Darn Tough are the best of the Merino wool socks that I've tried. I stopped buying socks made of anything else many moons ago. Cotton is a common but exceptionally poor choice of material for socks IMHO. Cotton absorbs water so it won't dry out quickly and it isn't antimicrobrial. All of my socks are made of a blend of Merino wool, some Lycra or Spandex.(typically ~ 3-5%) and nylon or polyester (something tough that doesn't absorb water). The Darn Tough standards are incredibly comfortable and I suspect that they'll probably wear like iron, just like my other, relatively tortured, Darn Tough boot socks. I gave up on "working" at 49 but if I were still still doing that then the standards are what I'd be wearing to the office. Now, I wear'em when I'm knocking around town. I haven't been buying from Gobro very long yet but they're my go to provider right now, fast shipping and excellent customer service thus far....

Love Darn Tough

These are the first socks that actually last. I wouldn’t buy any other socks.
