I ONLY WEAR MERINO WOOL SOCKS

I'm 66, so I've been around for awhile, and having hiked the AT and traveled the world, I've tried a lot of socks. I've tried natural fibers, cotton, silk, Merino wool and all manner of synthetics. And I've tried lots of different brands. Now, the only socks that I wear are Merino wool by Darn Tough. As a kid, I never excited about a sock, but I didn't know about Merino wool and Darn tough back then. These days, I give Merino wool socks by Darn Tough as Christmas gifts and a lot of people have told me later that they ended up buying more Merino wool socks by Darn Tough. If one hasn't tried these socks then they should be one's bucket list. Some have told me that, at first, they seemed a little pricey but, in the long run, I can't afford to buy anything else.

King of socks

They seem well made, and so far are doing well. I believe it is too early to give them a five after 1.5 months of wearing them twice a week. They are expensive, but the sales allow common people to purchase them. If their customer service is good and we do wear holes in them, that will be the deciding factor whether to keep buying them. So far I am well pleased with the 4 pair of socks that I purchased.

Extra Cushion

Darn Tough Tactical socks

I have a few pair of Darn Tough socks so when I saw these tactical ones on sale, I had to give them a try. I believe they are the best socks I have ever owned! good, not the cushiest, shrink easily

Good socks, not as cushy or thick as I was expecting for the cushiest option the company offers. I have other socks much thicker, but these are nice anyway, comfortable. Haven't had a chance to try them in winter yet. I sometimes wear two wool socks around here so... I'm not sure these will do the trick by themselves anyway, though they're supposedly the warmest Darn Tough offers. The Pacific NW wet cold is a beast. Other wool socks I have don't shrink in the dryer, but these ones do, I have to be careful to pick them out, one pair shrunk significantly the first time I dried them. I wore them and they stretched back out alright, but that doesn't help with longevity. I almost wished I would have gotten one size up so I could put them in the dryer but oh well. Thank you for socks.

Great boot sock!!

I have only worn these about 6-7 times so far but they feel great!!! Fall weather has been between 39-70 and my feet have stayed dry and comfortable! Very happy with my purchase so far!!!

Warm, Padded Socks

They pill almost immediately but they are a perfect fit and the cushioning is very nice. I'm wearing right now. Would buy again.
