Wearing out too quickly

"Expanded Field Operations"? NOT. Wearing out in the heel after limited use.

Very Comfortable Socks

I'm on my feet a lot and sometimes have heel pain. These cushioned socks are wonderful. They are comfortable, well-fitting and alleviate my foot pain. I wash them inside out on the washer delicate cycle and they come out like new after repeated washings. Very durable and they don't stretch out and fall down. Worth the money.

Perfectly Padded Boot Socks

I have purchased every padded insole and arch support on the market and still had foot pain. I’m not ready to say goodbye to my booties and tall boots for trainers. Luckily, in the comment section on a recently watched podiatrist's YouTube video someone mentioned how helpful these padded socks were so I immediately did a google search and I found this website. I can’t tell you how happy I was to find I could walk again in every single one of my boots with these socks on without any foot pain. They are exactly as advertised. The unisex size made me skeptical as my feet are small. There is a little bit of extra material in the toe bed this worked out okay for me and there’s some extra room in the heal but I found my shoehorn solved any bunching up problem. It’s not a big deal at all to use it. As a women’s size 6 the medium fit me like a tall knee-high sock which is my favorite in the cold PNW. They are warm, cozy, and not tight on my 12 1/2” calves. After 2 hours of walking my feet didn’t hurt. The socks and my feet were dry and no blisters. These are legit boot socks. I will be buying a few more pairs. Worth every cent. Thanks, Thorlo!

THORLO work socks

I just returned my poor size and style selections (men's 13 ankle-length and 15, calf-length, in black). I have yet to find block "work socks" reinforced with padding Above the heel boned, at the stockings"maximum wear points" (i.e., where heel "recess" rubs and wears against the top of edges of all street shoes. Sadly, all "work socks", "hiking socks", etc., to my knowledge, are merely "comfort reinforced" with "double stitched cushion heel" padding Only where heels "strike the pavement", and never at the actual "heavy-wear points" located about an inch higher on the heel -- thus sustaining prematurely-worn socks (i.e., about an inch above the heel bone) necessitating ("vendor-Happy!) stocking re-purcahses. Customers would save money, and vendors lose money, in (only) these socks were padded at the heavy wear point an inch or so above the heel bones. "Highest quality working socks", in my opinion, "deserve" slightly better padding, especially ABOVE the heel bone.
