Thorlo Maximum Cushion Over-Calf Extreme Cold Socks

Great quality socks, but these are not the Thorlo SKX socks of old. Quite a bit thicker. Disappointed.

Thorlo Maximum cushion socks are very comfortable and warm. The size was perfect for me, I ordered a medium and wear shoe size of 8-8.5. The medium has given me a little extra room for sock liners underneath. My orders have always shipped promptly and I have always received the correct items and size requested.

Great fit and feel, although haven't worn them climbing yet.

I’ve been buying these extreme cold wool socks for years. This time they are noticeably thinner. Still “thick”, just not as thick.

I bought these for a winter campout. I had packed extra socks to have dry feet for the afternoon/evening, but found that I didn’t need the extras! These Thorlos kept my feet warm and dry all day. Plus, they had the same cushioning that I love in their lightweight hiking socks. Love!

I got a pair of Thorlos years ago during a Canadian winter where temperatures were quite a bit below zero, but then noticed I really enjoyed using them to sleep in back home in the winter because my feet always get so cold. These not only do the trick, but have extra arch support and heel cushioning. Happy with this purchase!

The “Extreme cold” socks seem to keep my feet warm, but I was disappointed in the feel of the material because it is rougher than I anticipated. I ordered a size larger than my shoe size, and they fit my feet perfectly, but are too small to pull up easily over my calf. It appears they did shrink a bit after laundering.

I bought theses socks a a gift for my husband who spends a good deal of time outdoors in the winter. He was thrilled with them, he’d been eyeing them on your site for awhile now. We both love Thorlos for quality and fit, and he appreciates the padding that these socks offer. The warmth factor is also a big plus.

Bought these to keep my feet warm during my outdoor/garage workouts in the cold north. They worked great and are also working for our -20 to -30 degree weather right now! Nothing can keep me down!

I also bought these in white. They keep your feet toasty warm in the Winter, are heavy padded in all the right places. I have problem feet so these are a necessity.
